How share links work
A share link saves one estimate so you can open it later or send it to someone else. Creating one is optional.
What is saved
- The server recalculates the estimate using the submitted cat profile before saving it.
- The saved page includes the input snapshot, estimated lifespan, lifespan range, remaining years together, model version, sources, and education disclaimer.
- Regular calculator use does not create a public share link unless you choose the share action.
Who can view it
- Anyone with the exact share URL can view the shared result.
- Share pages are public for link holders but are marked noindex,follow so they are not intended as search result pages.
- Avoid using a cat name or profile details you would not want a link recipient to see.
